(an Italian word, decease pronounced “in-key-es-ta” that means “journey”)
A new movement is afoot among the largest cohort of retirees ever seen – the Boomer generation. No longer is retirement seen as the beginning of a decline. A new lens is emerging that sees Boomers fulfilling unfinished business, cure trying new things and rethinking what’s possible. So, why is research showing that as many as 64% of Boomers regret their decision to retire; and that only 14% take time to plan for the lifestyle they most want in retirement? The reasons are unique for each retiree. But this is the first generation to look at retirement from a perspective of new beginnings. There are few benchmarks and too many possibilities, which can overwhelm the most resilient among us. Without a clear purpose, regret can easily take centre stage.
That’s why working with a retirement coach is one of the best investments you can make in yourself. One of my greatest joys is seeing Boomers make the most of what may be the best years of their lives. My coaching, seminars and talks are designed to help you gain the clarity you need on what’s most important for you at this time of your life. With newfound clarity, you can squeeze every last drop of juice out of this exciting time of your life, and avoid wasting your most energetic years of retirement trying to figure out what to do with all this newfound freedom.
“Retirement is a time of jubilation. Live boldly! Live Loudly!
Squeeze every last drop of juice out it.”
